Patiala: Due to the martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Ji falling on a holiday (Monday, 23 March), the college administration, along with the entire staff and the Class IV Employees Union Sub-Committee of Government Mahindra College, Patiala, organized a tribute ceremony today on 24-03-2026 at the college campus.
On this occasion, NCC cadets and students also participated. The ceremony was conducted under the ???????ship of College Principal Dr. Nishtha Tripathi Ji. The dignitaries present included Vice Principal Prof. Lovleen Parmar, Dr. Amrit Samra (College Bursar), NCC Army Wing Incharge Dr. Manmohan Sami, Senior Assistant Shri Ravinder Joshi, Smt. Bhalinder Kaur, and Class IV Employees President Ram Lal Rama.
During the event, speakers addressed the students about the life and ideology of the martyrs and took a pledge to follow their principles.
Union leaders Chairman Mahinder Singh, Cashier Baljinder Singh, Secretary Mukesh, Vice President Sukhdev Singh, along with Amardeep Singh, Mandeep Singh, Sonia, Sarika, Raj Rani, Raj Kaur, Promila, Paramjit Kaur, Veerbhan, Sunita Rani, and the entire staff were present on the occasion.
