Mastuana Sahib, November 26: Secretary of Akal College Council Mastuana Sahib (Sangrur) Jaswant Singh Khaira said that in order to withdraw the 3 black laws made by the central government; about 800 farmers and farm laborers were martyred in the 14-month struggle led by the United Kisan Morcha and all farmer and farm labor organizations of India on the borders of Delhi during the year 2020-2021.
For the government jobs received by the families of those martyrs, for the abundant support received from various organizations, on Sunday, December 1 (this struggle started in Delhi on November 26, 2019), to celebrate the anniversary of the struggle, to pay tribute to the martyred farmers and farm laborers, Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be held at Gurdwara Memorial Mata Bholi Kaur Ji Mastuana Sahib (Sangrur) at 10 am.
On this occasion, the foundation stone of the martyrs' memorial will be laid by the Panj Pyare at 12 noon. Apart from this, a free eye surgery and check-up camp will also be organized from 10 am to 2 pm with the support of Dr. SP Singh Ubrai, Managing Trustee of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. Eye lenses will be fitted during the camp.
Glasses and medicines will be provided free of cost. Accommodation and food arrangements will be made at Akal College Council Mastuana Sahib for patients undergoing distant surgeries related to martyr families.
