Hoshiarpur: The three-day annual 'Joda Mela' (fair) at Darbar Maa Bhulli Ghumari in Pachhta village (Tehsil Phagwara) is being organized with great love and devotion from June 10 to 12, under the leadership of the shrine's presiding Mahant, JB Shah, and with the cooperation of the entire congregation. Providing details about the event, Mahant JB Shah stated that the rituals of *Chirag* (lighting of lamps) and *Mehndi* would be performed at 5:00 PM on the first day.
The *Jhanda* (flag-hoisting) ceremony will take place on the second day. On the final day, Friday, June 12, a night-long musical gathering (*mehfil*) will be held from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. During this session, Qawwal Kuldeep Ruhani will present *Qawwalis*, while Lovely Naqal & Party (Nawanshahr) and Bhatti Naqal & Party (Mandhali Sharif) will present colorful cultural performances.
He added that *Langar* (community kitchen service) and refreshments—specifically tea and *pakoras*—will be served continuously throughout the fair. Following the conclusion of the fair, the *Beda Taran* ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 14.
