New Delhi:- After the threats received by schools in the country's capital Delhi this morning, now emails threatening to blow up Delhi Secretariat and Delhi Assembly have also been received. This news has created a stir in the entire administration.
The Delhi Fire Service received information about a bomb in the Secretariat at 12 noon, after which the Bomb Disposal Squad and security teams reached the spot and started a search operation. However, no suspicious object has been recovered in the investigation so far.
On the other hand, the Speaker of Delhi Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta has received a threat to blow up the Assembly on his personal email. This has been confirmed through the official email handle of the Assembly.
The Peeker has informed the Delhi Police Commissioner about this and demanded immediate strict action. It is worth mentioning that this morning, Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan and Air Force School in Lodhi Road also received similar threats, after which security has been increased across Delhi.
