Ludhiana:- Dedicated to the holy day of the tenth standard and the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the Sangat installed a chhabeel of cold sweet water in village Kailpur. On this occasion, a large number of passers-by and local people were served with cold sweet water. This chhabeel installed in the summer season gave a lot of relief to the people and the Sangat gave practical form to the spirit of service and charity according to the teachings of the Gurus.
The sevadars said that the martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji gives a unique message of humanity, service and tolerance. Under this spirit, people are served by installing chhabeel every year.
On this occasion, those who performed the service included Jaswant Singh, Baljit Singh, Ravinder Singh, Lakhvir Singh, Manna, Harmeet Singh, Gaggi, Lovepreet Singh, Surinder Singh Sema, Armaan Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Hardeep Singh, Kuldev Singh, Sehajpreet Singh, Princedeep Singh, Amandeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Nikka Waraich, Lal Singh, Amrit D.J. Wala, Lakhbir Singh and other devotees were present.
