Mohali: The sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm by the Brahmakumaris of Mohali. On this occasion, the sisters of the organization tied *rakhis* to officials from the district administration, the police department, and various other government and social institutions, conveying a message of universal brotherhood, love, peace, and goodwill.
The Brahmakumari sisters tied *rakhis* to several officials, including Mohali Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ms. Komal Mittal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ms. Sonam Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Ankita Kansal, the District Public Relations Officer (DPRO), and the District Revenue Officer.
Continuing this initiative, the spiritual message of Raksha Bandhan was also shared by tying *rakhis* to police department officials, including the SSP of the Vigilance Bureau, Ropar Range SP Mr. Arun Saini, and the SP and DSP of Mohali.
The Brahmakumari sisters also tied *rakhis* to officials and employees of various institutions—such as the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Verka Milk Plant, Punjab's Department of NRI Affairs, and the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT)—conveying the message of universal brotherhood and global kinship alongside the sacred bond of a brother-sister relationship.
Speaking on the occasion, the Brahmakumari representatives stated that Raksha Bandhan is not merely a traditional festival but an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of spiritual love, purity, cooperation, and brotherhood. Through the *rakhi*, a message was conveyed to everyone to embrace positivity, peace, and goodwill in their lives.
