Sunam, June 14:- A huge free medical camp was organized by Peer Baba Chirangi Shah Samiti in the memory of Baba Chirangi Shah Ji with the aim of public service at Peer Baba Chirangi Shah Community Hall. The main objective of this camp was to provide health services to the people of the area and to create awareness about health.
A team of expert doctors was present in the camp to check various diseases, who examined hundreds of patients and gave them necessary advice and free medicines.
On this occasion, Punjab Cabinet Minister Shri Aman Arora attended as the chief guest. During his address, he said that such efforts for social service and welfare of humanity are very commendable. He said that the efforts being made by religious and social organizations for the health of the people play an important role in bringing positive changes in the society.
The Cabinet Minister praised the members of the Pir Baba Chirangi Shah Samiti and said that they have been active in public welfare works for a long time and are giving a message of unity and service to the society. He said that the Punjab government is also committed to providing good health facilities to the people.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister was also honored by the Samiti.
The leaders of the Samiti said that their main objective is to serve humanity by following the teachings of Baba Chirangi Shah Ji and the path shown by him. They said that such public welfare works will continue in the future as well.
On this occasion, office bearers of the Pir Baba Chirangi Shah Samiti, a large number of local residents, social workers and Samiti members were present. The people who came during the camp highly appreciated this initiative.
