Hoshiarpur- The new generation should try to free the country from evils. This idea was expressed by Baljinder Mann, editor of the only children's magazine in Punjabi, Nikkiya Karumbalan, registered in the India Book of Records, and Shiromani Sahityakar, while addressing the NSS volunteers at the School of Eminence, Khwaspur, Hiran.
He further said that seven to eight decades have passed since the country became independent, but poverty, unemployment, hunger, casteism and religious fanaticism are still prevalent in the country. This proves that we all have to unite and fight another war of freedom in which the new generation can play a special role.
He told the volunteers that by becoming a member of NSS, you can make an important contribution to the new construction of the country and the nation. The ability to reverse the current trends in the country is in the hands of the new generation. For this, they will have to instill qualities like determination, hard work, dedication, labor, solidarity, equality, honesty and courage in themselves.
Due to these qualities, they can set an example and provide new lines to the country. They also motivated the students to read as many healthy books as possible, to be in good company, tolerant, obedient and to be of sweet speech.
