Assandh/Karnal, October 16: A Diwali Milan Utsav program was organized at Jeevan Chanan Women's College, Assandh, on Thursday. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, Uttarakhand, and Haryana Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra attended as chief guests, and Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana was a special guest.
The chief guest was welcomed with garlands by Principal Rekha Sharma and the entire college management upon his arrival. An exhibition of indigenous products was organized at the college on this occasion. Students presented cultural programs related to the Ramayana.
During his address, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, Uttarakhand, stated that the entire college deserves congratulations for organizing this grand Diwali event. The Rajya Sabha MP announced a donation of ?5 lakh to the college. He further stated that the new education policy will prove to be very beneficial for the country's students.
He said that the BJP government has always taken positive decisions for the benefit of the country's students and youth. Today's youth are the future of tomorrow's India. Praising the exhibition of indigenous products, he said that using indigenous products is the first step towards making our country self-reliant. He said that today, under the leadership of our illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has progressed significantly globally. Our economy is strengthening. The country is progressing in every field.
The new GST reforms and income tax exemptions will result in significant annual savings for citizens. He said, "One Nation, One Tax has strengthened the country economically." He also said that these reforms will simplify the tax system for industries and businesses, leading to increased business. This next-generation GST has brought happiness to everyone from farmers to entrepreneurs, from families to businesses.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra said that all students should always know that student life is the foundation of their entire life. Whatever we acquire during this period has a lasting impact throughout their lives. He told all present that along with education, values ??are also very important in life.
We must understand our values ??and culture along with education, only then will our country develop. He said that our ancient Gurukul education policy provided education keeping in mind every aspect of life.
Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's main objective is to develop every section of the country and make the country developed. We should contribute to the country's development by using indigenous products and adopting self-reliance. During this, Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra announced a donation of 10 lakh rupees to the college.
On this occasion, Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana, addressing the gathering, expressed his immense joy at attending this college event. The MLA said that our country is a land of sages, saints, and great men. Incarnations have appeared on our land. We should feel proud of our eternal civilization.
