Nawanshahr:- The initiation day of Mahasadhavi Sarita and Sadhavi Udita Ji was celebrated at the local Jain Upasara. Giving information in this regard, former General Secretary of SS Jain Sabha Nawanshahr, Ratan Kumar Jain, said that today the 63rd initiation day of North Indian preacher Mahasadhavi Shri Sarita Ji Maharaj and the 13th initiation day of Sadhavi Shri Udita Ji Maharaj, who are sitting at the Jain Upasara, were celebrated with great devotion. Mahasadhavi Shri Shubha Ji Maharaj and Sadhavi Shri Udita Ji Maharaj, who were present on this occasion, gave detailed information about the life of Mahasadhavi Shri Sarita Ji!
Which also includes how she became detached from worldly desires in childhood. She took initiation at the feet of Guruni Mahasadhavi Shri Shashikant Maharaj at the age of 12. With the inspiration of Mahasadhavi Ji, Jain libraries, dispensaries, hospitals, educational institutions and Jain localities were established in various cities. Mahasadhavi Sarita Ji Maharaj started her education only after receiving initiation. Gradually, she obtained a double MA and PhD. She is a very learned Sadhavi whose discourses are very influential.
For this reason, Acharya Samrat Dr. Shiv Muni Ji Maharaj honored her with the title of Uttar Bharatiya Pravartini. Sadhavi Shri Jairat Ji Maharaj also took initiation at a young age. She is very adept in giving sermons at the age of 12. On this occasion, Mahasadhavi Shri Vandana Ji Maharaj, who was present, also wished Shri Sarita Ji Maharaj and Udita Ji Maharaj on their Dikhya Divas through her discourse.
On this occasion, the present Mahasadhavi Shri Manjusha Ji Maharaj and Shri Suman Ji Maharaj also congratulated and wished Guruni Ji on their Dikhya Divas through their discourses and bhajans.
