Chandigarh: The Global Shravan Awards Ceremony 2025 is being organized by the Mat-Pita Godham Trust on April 10, coinciding with the 15th Mat-Pita Pujan Diwas (Parents' Worship Day). The event will take place at the world's first-ever Mat-Pita Temple—currently under construction—located in Village Khallaur, District Mohali, along the Banur-Ambala Road.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Trust's Founder Trustee, Gochar Das Gyan, announced that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will serve as the Chief Guest at the 2025 awards ceremony. Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma will grace the occasion as the Distinguished Guest.
Special guests for the event will include former Haryana Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, Political Secretary to the Haryana Chief Minister Tarun Bhandari, Panchkula BJP District President Ajay Mittal, BJP leader from Dera Bassi S. Gurdarshan Singh Saini, and senior BJP leader from Rajpura Jagdish Jagga.
During the awards ceremony, 'The Global Shravan Awards' will be presented across various categories, including India (National), Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Maharashtra.
Notably, the world's first Mat-Pita Temple is currently being built on the Banur-Ambala Road in District Mohali. Every year on April 10, the Mat-Pita Pujan Diwas is celebrated here with great pomp and fervor, drawing devotees from various states who come to worship their parents.
Very soon, this world-first Mat-Pita Temple will be dedicated to the service of society.
Trust President Subhash Singla informed that the program will commence at 9:00 AM, and a continuous community feast (*Bhandara*) will be served starting from the afternoon.
Gochar Das Gyan further added that the Mat-Pita Temple will be the first of its kind in the world to instill the realization that the Divine resides within one's own parents.
During the Mat-Pita Pujan Diwas, renowned spiritual orators—including All-India 'Gau Katha' (Cow Lore) exponent Shri Chandrakant Ji, International Vedic Orator Acharya Swami Rajeshwaranand Ji Maharaj, and Sankirtan and Bhagwat Katha Preacher Swami Devkinandan Das—will mesmerize the audience of parents and cow devotees with their spiritual discourses and devotional hymns. Present at the press conference were Chairman and Trustee Kashmiri Lal Gupta; Trustees Surnesh Singla, Amarjit Bansal, Jai Gopal Bansal, Maman Ram Garg, and Deepak Mittal; President Subhash Singla; Senior Vice President Sushil Bindal; Vice President Kapil Verma; Secretary Suresh Bansal; and Co-Cashier Pankaj Jaiswal, among others.
