Fatehabad, 05 February:- As a result of the visionary and sensitive thinking of Superintendent of Police Shri Sidhanth Jain, IPS, Fatehabad district is today moving strongly towards a drug-free society. On one hand, Fatehabad Police has taken strict action against drug sellers and put hundreds of drug smugglers behind the bars, on the other hand, under the “Operation Jeevan Jyoti” campaign, the humanitarian work of taking the drug-affected youth out of the quagmire of drugs and connecting them with the mainstream of the society is also being done continuously.
The de-addiction team is continuously establishing contact with the youth trapped in drug addiction and boosting their morale, providing them treatment and motivating them towards a positive life. Under this campaign, till now hundreds of youth have been freed from the grip of drugs and given an opportunity to live a respectable and social life.
With this inspiring thinking of *Superintendent of Police Shri Siddhant Jain*, now responsible and social service organizations of the society have also started coming forward in this holy campaign. In this series, Agarwal Sabha took a commendable and exemplary initiative and made an important contribution for the treatment of drug-affected youth.
*Agrawal Sabha President Subhash Garg* dedicated the drug de-addiction campaign by setting up a “langar” of homeopathic and allopathic medicines worth about ? 50,000 in the auditorium hall located at Police Lines Fatehabad at his personal expense. These medicines will be used in the treatment and rehabilitation of youth suffering from drug addiction, so that they can recover soon and return to the mainstream of society.
On this occasion, de-addiction team in-charge Sub Inspector Sundar Lal, former secretary of Aggarwal Sabha Mr. Sushil Kumar Bansal and other police employees of de-addiction team were also present.
During the program, *Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS* expressed his gratitude to Agrawal Sabha President Subhash Garg and the entire Agrawal Sabha and said that this work is an excellent example in the direction of humanity and social welfare. He said that drug-addicted youth are the future of our society, who fall into the trap of addiction due to wrong company or astray. Such youth do not need punishment, but love, support and morale. The main objective of Fatehabad Police is to get them out of the quagmire of drugs.
*Superintendent of Police* also called upon other social organizations and responsible citizens of the society to come forward and contribute to this drug de-addiction campaign and with their participation, offer sacrifice in this social "Havan Yagya", so that Fatehabad can be made completely drug free.
