Una, November 21: The Dhilwan to Hiran Thada road (2/400 to 3/400 kilometers) will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from November 23 to December 20. During this period, traffic will be diverted to the alternative road, Dhilwan-Amrali-Laluwal-Hiran Thada.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. He stated that these orders have been issued to ensure the speedy and smooth completion of road upgrades.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to notify the public about the road closure and to install advance signage to inform them of the route change.
