Una, October 31 - A program was organized on Friday at the Mini Secretariat, Una, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and the martyrdom day of the country's first woman Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal administered the oath of national unity and integrity to the officers and employees present.
The Deputy Commissioner paid homage to both great personalities by laying floral tributes on their portraits. He emphasized that we must always remain dedicated to maintaining the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
He said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, made an unforgettable contribution to nation-building, uniting various princely states to achieve unity.
