Mohali: The 171st annual feast and the festival of Holi with the cows was celebrated with great devotion and pomp at the Mata-Pita Gaudham Mahatirth, Khallaur. On this auspicious occasion, renowned bhajan singer Shri Devki Nandan ji filled the atmosphere with devotion with his melodious bhajans. During the program, all the devotees were seen enjoying themselves while feeding the cows green fodder and sweet porridge.
Founder Gauchar Das Gyan explained that the organization's objective through Holi with the Cows is to respect parents and love the cows in every home. After the program, a large number of people enjoyed the feast. The main feature of the world's first Mother and Father Temple being built at the Mata-Pita Gaudham Mahatirth is that instead of having any idols in the temple, one will feel the presence of God in one's own parents.
During this, trustees of the organization Suresh Singla, Kashmiri Lal Gupta, Maman Ram Garg, Amarjeet Bansal, Deepak Mittal and committee members Subhash Singla, Kuldeep Thakur, Suresh Bansal, Surat Walia, Pankaj Jaiswal, Jeevan Babu, etc. were present.
