Mumbai:- The Indian stock market witnessed a rise for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. Both the Sensex and Nifty opened higher due to positive trends in Asian markets and continuous buying by foreign investors. In the opening session, the BSE Sensex rose 247.01 points or 0.29 percent to 84,312.76, while the NSE Nifty was also seen trading at 25,947.55, up 80.25 points.
Among the top 30 companies in the Sensex, big stocks like Titan, Axis Bank, TCS, Sun Pharma, Reliance Industries and Tata Steel were seen buying. However, stocks like Bajaj Finance, HCL Technologies, SBI and HDFC Bank registered a slight decline. Foreign institutional investors bought shares worth about Rs 2,254.64 crore on Monday, which strengthened the market.
The situation at the international level also looks favorable. The markets of Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea were bullish, while the US markets also closed with a rise on Monday. Along with this, a slight decline has also been seen in crude oil prices, which has given relief to the Indian market.
According to experts, if the buying by foreign investors continues in this way, then the market may see further bullishness.
