Una, April 13: Amidst the joyous aura of Baisakhi and the vibrant rhythms of folk culture, the third cultural evening of the State-Level Haroli Festival–2026 transformed into a grand celebration of the masses. The massive crowd that gathered for the cultural evening infused the entire event with vitality and enthusiasm.
On this occasion, Himachal Pradesh Advocate General Anoop Ratan was present as the Chief Guest. His wife, Mrs. Neelam Ratan, also accompanied him at the event. Deputy Chief Minister and MLA for Haroli, Mukesh Agnihotri, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and honored him by presenting a memento.
Appreciating the Haroli Festival, Chief Guest Anoop Ratan remarked that this event is no longer confined merely to Haroli but has evolved into a festival for the entire state of Himachal. He noted that when farmers and common citizens participate in such events after a day of hard work, it serves as an occasion for relaxation and joy for them. Commending Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri's developmental vision, he stated that under his leadership, the region is continuously advancing on the path of progress—a trajectory that serves as an inspiration for other regions as well.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated that the Haroli Festival stands as a living symbol of public sentiment and community participation. He observed that the massive crowds gathering every year reflect the festival's growing popularity and the deep emotional bond the people share with it. He emphasized that alongside development, providing public entertainment and preserving cultural traditions is equally essential, and this constitutes the core objective of the festival. He affirmed that this festival would continue to be organized with the same enthusiasm and grandeur in the years to come.

The cultural evening witnessed such a magical spread of melodies that the entire town of Haroli continued to sway to the music until late into the night. Performances by Punjabi star singer Shivjot—alongside Himachali star singers Kuldeep Sharma and Anuj Sharma—infused the atmosphere with energy. The fusion of traditional and modern music left the audience spellbound, and the festival venue resonated with applause and enthusiasm.
It is noteworthy that former MP and State Congress In-charge, Rajani Patil, will serve as the Chief Guest at the festival's closing ceremony on April 14. The final cultural evening is scheduled to continue until midnight (12:00 AM). During this event, Punjabi stars Ammy Virk and Gurlez Akhtar will weave their musical magic.
Present on this occasion were State General Secretary Ranjit Rana, Congress leaders Ashok Thakur, Vinod Bittu, Satish Bittu, and Virender Mankotia, as well as Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal, DSP Mohan Rawat, along with other dignitaries and representatives from various Panchayats.
