Una, March 20: The special revision of voter lists for the election of office bearers of Panchayati Raj Institutions—comprising the Zila Parishad, Panchayat Samiti, and Gram Panchayats—has commenced in District Una. Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that individuals who will be 18 years of age or older as of April 1, 2026, are eligible to register their names in the voter list.
He further informed that, under the revision program, March 28, 2026, has been designated as the last date for filing claims and objections, while the disposal of these claims and objections will be completed by April 2, 2026.
Similarly, April 10, 2026, is the deadline for filing appeals, and these appeals will be disposed of by April 17, 2026. Subsequently, the final publication of the supplementary voter list will be carried out on or before April 20, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner has urged eligible citizens to contact their respective Gram Panchayat, Development Block Office, or the District Panchayat Officer's Office in Una to register their names in the voter list or to request any amendments.
