Hoshiarpur, September 05:- Teacher's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect today at Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary Model School, Shimla Pahari, Hoshiarpur. Students were informed about the importance of teachers and the vital role they play in guiding students' lives in the right direction.
During the event, students were told about the life and significant contributions to education of India's great scholar, philosopher, and former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Students were educated that Teacher's Day is celebrated every year on September 5 in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary.
On this occasion, School President Anurag Sood, Secretary Dr. Harshwinder Singh Pathania, Principal Shobha Rani, Manisha Joshi, and the entire school staff addressed the students. Highlighting the significance of Teacher's Day, they motivated students to maintain hard work, discipline, good values, and respect for their teachers.
