Hoshiarpur- Fulfilling its social responsibility, International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Group) has donated 12 ambulances to the Punjab Health System. These ambulances were flagged off by the Honorable Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Mrs. Asika Jain and formally handed over to the Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Balvir Kumar.
This important initiative is a step towards implementing the formula of “Chardikala Punjab” under the guidance of Mr. Amrit Sagar Mittal, Vice Chairman of International Tractor Limited (Sonalika).
On this occasion, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Swati, District Health Officer Dr. Jatinder Bhatia, Senior Medical Officer in Charge Civil Hospital Dr. Navjot Singh, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Neha Pal, and Mr. Akshay Sangwan (Director Development and Commercial), Mr. J.S. Chauhan (Senior Vice President Operations) and Mr. Rajnish Sandal (Head Legal and PR) from Sonalika Group were also present.
Mrs. Asika Jain Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur said on the occasion that “This contribution made by Sonalika to strengthen the health system is commendable. With the ambulances, emergency services will become faster and more effective. Only with the joint efforts of industry organizations and the government can we take the health sector to a new level.
Dr. Balvir Kumar Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur said that “These ambulances given by Sonalika to the Punjab Health System will prove to be very useful in speeding up emergency services and providing timely assistance to patients.
On this occasion, both the officials appreciated the social contribution of Sonalika Group and expressed hope that such initiatives will further strengthen the health sector in the future.
