Una, February 17: Social security pension beneficiaries in Una district who have not yet verified their e-KYC should ensure their e-KYC is completed before February 28th. Disclosure: District Welfare Officer, Una, Awas Pandit, stated that beneficiaries can visit their nearest Anganwadi center or the relevant Tehsil Welfare Officer's office to verify their e-KYC with all necessary documents.
He explained that if a pension beneficiary fails to complete their e-KYC verification by the due date, it will be deemed that the individual is ineligible for the pension or that the pension is unavailable. In such a situation, their social security pension may be permanently discontinued. He also clarified that if a destitute pensioner's Aadhaar card is not generated for any reason or needs to update their Aadhaar, they can contact the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer.
Awas Pandit appealed to the pension beneficiaries to immediately contact their District Welfare Officer, Tehsil Welfare Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Child Development Project Supervisor or the concerned Anganwadi worker to get information related to e-KYC verification or to resolve any kind of problem, so that the pension facility can continue uninterrupted.
