Chandigarh, March 6:- Singapore India Business Forum Chairman Prasun Mukherjee met Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Friday. During this, there was a detailed discussion on industrial investment in Haryana, trade cooperation and opportunities available for Singaporean companies.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini invited the Singapore India Business Forum and Singaporean investors to invest in Haryana. He said that the Haryana government is constantly striving to promote industries in the state and provide a conducive environment for investors. The government is encouraging investment through transparent policies, simple procedures and better infrastructure.
He said that the state government is committed to providing all possible support to investors. Investors coming to invest in Haryana will not be allowed to face any kind of trouble and their interests will be ensured. The Chief Minister said that expansion of industries in the state will create new employment opportunities and give further impetus to the economic progress of the state.
The proposal to set up a business centre of the Singapore India Business Forum in Gurugram was also discussed during the meeting. The Chief Minister said that with the establishment of the business centre in Gurugram, Singapore companies will get a better platform to open their offices and invest in Haryana. This will strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Singapore India Business Forum, Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee, invited the Chief Minister, Mr. Naib Singh Saini to visit Singapore. Mr. Mukherjee said that the Directors of the Singapore India Business Forum are very excited about the investment opportunities in Haryana along with the Singapore Government and there are wide possibilities of cooperation in various fields in the future.
Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal and many senior officials were present in the meeting.
