Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha Begins at Bharat Mata Temple with a Grand Kalash Yatra Community Feast Bhandara Scheduled for April 5th

Hisar: A magnificent *Kalash Shobha Yatra* (sacred pot procession) was organized to mark the commencement of the *Shiv Mahapuran Katha* (recitation of the sacred scripture of Lord Shiva), being held at the Bharat Mata Temple in memory of the late social worker Ch. Fatehchand Ji, the late Mata Harbans Kaur Ji, and the late Shri Vijay Sharma Ji. Clad in yellow and red attire, and balancing *Kalash* (sacred pots) adorned with mango leaves and coconuts upon their heads, women participated in the procession as it wound through the surrounding areas, including MC Colony and DC Colony. The *Kalash Yatra* was led by the renowned spiritual orator (*Katha Vyas*) from Vrindavan, Pandit Krishna Sharan Shastri Ji Maharaj. Throughout the event, the entire atmosphere resonated with chants of "Jai Bhole Bhandari!" A large number of devotees from neighboring localities participated in this sacred procession. 
Prominent figures present during the *Kalash Yatra* included Anil Mehta (Patron of the Bharat Mata Temple, MC Colony), Priest Pandit Ramkishore Shukla, Ramniwas Agarwal (CA), Rambabu Singal, Acharya Santosh Shastri, Sunita Sharma, Lata Singal, Manorama Gupta, Parveen Arora, Indu Goyal, Madhu Bansal, Rekha, and Bimla Kathuria. 
Also in attendance were all members of the Bharat Mata Samiti and the *Mahila Mandal* (Women's Wing), including Vivek Pathak, Vedpal, Master Madan, Jitendra Soni, Archana Agarwal, Reena Gupta, Meenu Singla, Meera, Kailash, Kirti Mittal, Preeti Singal, Radha Shukla, Poonam Mittal, Nisha Goyal, Sunaina Singla, Anju Garg, Madhuri Mishra, and Sunita Soni. 
Anil Mehta announced that the renowned spiritual orator from Vrindavan, Pandit Krishna Sharan Shastri, will narrate the *Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha* daily from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM until April 4th. On April 5th, following the morning *Havan* (sacred fire ritual), a *Bhandara* (community feast) will be organized from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 
Following the Kalash Yatra, devotees paid homage to the deities enshrined in the temple—specifically Bharat Mata, Shri Ganga Mata, and Shri Gau Mata—as well as the idols of Shri Durga Mata, Shri Shyam Baba, Shri Radha-Krishna, Shri Ram Darbar, Shri Lakshmi Narayan, Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman, and Shri Siddhivinayak Ganesh. Devotees were also seen bowing down in reverence before the idols of the Shri Shiva Parivar, Shri Sinduri Hanuman, Shri Santoshi Mata, Shri Sheetala Mata, and Shri Shani Maharaj, which are situated within the temple precincts. Furthermore, within the Bharat Mata Temple, the murals depicting Sant Guru Nanak, Mahatma Buddha, Sant Mahavir, Sant Kabir, Sant Ravidas, Sant Valmiki, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Lord Parashurama, and Maharaja Agrasen remained a focal point of attraction for the devotees.
