Hisar: At the Shri Adyashakti Peeth Maa Santoshi Ashram, the *Shri Ram Katha* (discourse on the life of Lord Ram) and spiritual sermons commenced with full ritualistic observances and worship during the auspicious period of Navratri. While offering prayers to Maa Bhagwati and Lord Shri Ram, Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Santoshi Mata elucidated the true meaning of Shri Ram. She stated that the word 'Ram' signifies "He who permeates all things." The essence of this, she explained, is that the Divine presence residing within the mind and heart of every single individual is, in fact, Ram. She further remarked that the *Nav Samvat* (New Year) serves as a symbol of change and renewal; just as old leaves fall from trees to make way for fresh shoots, it signals the conclusion of winter and the advent of summer. She noted that, much like the transformations that occur in nature, the human body, too, undergoes constant change.
On the inaugural day of the *Shri Ram Katha* held at the Maa Santoshi Ashram in Model Town, Hisar, the *Katha Vyas* (narrator)—the revered and highly distinguished Swami Santoshi Mata—was honored with a *tilak* (sacred mark) by Mr. Madan Lal Goyal, Vice President of the Maa Santoshi Ashram Management Committee. Subsequently, Ms. Krishna Gupta, Ms. Veena Soni, Mr. Hemraj Yadav, Mr. Ashok Verma, and Mrs. Narang extended a warm welcome to Swami Santoshi Mata by garlanding her. The event was attended by numerous dignitaries and all key office-bearers, including Mr. Rajmal Kajal (General Secretary of the Shakti Upasana Trust), Mr. Ashok Bansal, Mr. Subhash Bansal, Mr. Rakesh Narang, Mr. Sushil Budakiya, Mr. Ramesh Chugh, and Mr. Anil Mahatta.
During her discourse as part of the *Shri Ram Katha*, the narrator, Swami Santoshi Mata, observed that in the *Kaliyuga* (the current epoch), even if one cannot physically perceive the divine form of God, it is of no consequence—for the Divine Name remains. She asserted that if one engages in the sincere remembrance (*sumiran*) of the Divine Name, the Divine Form is bound to manifest itself. Indeed, she concluded, the Divine Form is inherently contained within the Divine Name itself. If a devotee holds the name of their cherished deity—be it Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, or Mother Bhagavati—then the deity is bound to appear, come what may. She explained that the very moment the tongue articulates the Lord's name, one should understand that the Lord Himself manifests right there. Swami Santoshi Mata also expounded upon the significance of the *Ramayana* to the devotees. She stated that the *Ramayana* is that in which Lord Rama resides (*ayan*). The term *ayan* signifies a home or abode; thus, the *Ramayana* can be understood as the very home of Lord Rama.
Rajmal Kajal, the convener of the Managing Committee of the Maa Santoshi Ashram, announced that at the Shri Adyashakti Peeth Maa Santoshi Ashram, ritualistic worship and recitations of the *Durga Saptashati* will be conducted daily at 8:00 AM until March 27. Vedic scholars arriving from Haridwar will guide the patrons (*Yajmans*) through the daily rituals with strict adherence to scriptural norms and with profound devotion. He further informed that, until March 27, Swami Santoshi Mata Ji will deliver the nectar of the *Shri Ram Katha* daily starting at 4:00 PM, offering devotees the opportunity to partake in spiritual discourses.
