Mohali, 29th August 2026:- Shri Ganesh Mahotsav Committee, Mohali, dedicated to the infinite grace of Lord Shri Ganesh Ji and the faith of the devotees, is organizing a grand scale of Shri Ganesh Mahotsav-2026 from 13th September to 16th September 2026 at Phase-9, Sector-63, Mohali.
This religious and social festival, which has been organized continuously for the last 10 years, attracts thousands of devotees every year. More than 15,000 devotees are expected to arrive this year. Sant Samaj and religious personalities from different states of the country are also arriving to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ganesh Ji.
?? September 16 — Vashal Rath Yatra
A Vashal Shri Ganesh Rath Yatra and Shobha Yatra will be taken out on September 16, 2026. Devotees will pull the chariot by hand and take it to PTL Chowk.
This vast Shobha Yatra will involve elephants, horses and 22 band teams from different states. Each band team will have about 80 members.
Phase-9, Sector-63, Mohali will be decorated with magnificent lighting and attractive welcome gates at various places.
The committee said that Punjab is an example of Hindu-Sikh brotherhood, mutual love and social unity. This festival is an effort to further strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood and unity.
The committee has appealed to all the residents of the city to participate in this holy event in maximum numbers along with their family and friends and seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ganesh Ji.
