S.A.S. Nagar: The Shaheedi Diwas (martyrdom day) of Bhai Taru Singh Ji, who upheld his faith and unshorn hair (Kesh) until his last breath, will be observed with great devotion on July 16 at Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan, the martyrdom site of Jathedar Baba Hanuman Singh Ji.
A spokesperson for the management committee stated that in observance of the Shaheedi Diwas, the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib will be held at 9:00 AM. Following this, Giani Jagjit Singh Ji (Head Granthi, Gurdwara Nada Sahib), Bhai Harpal Singh Ji (Hazoori Ragi, Takht Sri Hazur Sahib), Bhai Harjit Singh’s International Dhadi Jatha, Bhai Karandeep Singh Ji (Gurdwara Amb Sahib), Bhai Gursevak Singh Ludhianewale, Bhai Harbhajan Singh Ji (Damdami Taksal), Bhai Anmol Singh Patialewale, and other renowned Panthic preachers will delight the congregation by reciting the glory of the Lord throughout the day. Guru ka Langar (community kitchen) will be served continuously to the devotees.
