Karnal, 6th August- After news regarding the condition of Government Senior Secondary School, Kachwa was published, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Karnal Devendra Sharma along with officers of concerned departments conducted a joint inspection of the school and took stock of the arrangements on the spot.
During the inspection, the SDM observed rainwater logging, cleanliness arrangements, classrooms, verandahs, toilets, drinking water and other basic facilities in the school premises. While taking information about the factual position from the officers, he gave instructions to take immediate steps for quick resolution of waterlogging problem, proper cleaning of the premises and to provide better and safe educational environment to the students.
The SDM directed that early rectification of the shortcomings found during the inspection should be ensured and a detailed description of the action taken should be prepared. Along with this, latest photographs before and after the corrective works should also be attached with the report.
He directed the concerned officers that all departments should jointly prepare a factual report and send it mandatorily by 10th August, 2026 with signatures of competent officers.
SDM Devendra Sharma said that any kind of negligence will not be accepted in matters related to safety, health and education of students. He directed the concerned departments to establish coordination and complete all necessary corrective works on priority basis.
