Mohali (Harminder Nagpal):- Sarab Sanjha Welfare Society (Regd.), Mohali, an organisation at the forefront of social service, organised a mass Anand Karaj ceremony for 10 daughters from needy families at Gurdwara Nanak Darbar Sahib, Sector 90-91, Mohali, with the support of the Gurdwara Management Committee and the sangat. The Sri Akhand Path Sahib was concluded at 8 a.m. The wedding processions were welcomed at 9 a.m., followed by breakfast for the wedding parties at 11 a.m. The Anand Karaj ceremonies were solemnised at around 12:30 p.m.

MLA Kulwant Singh also congratulated the entire team of Phoolraj Singh for successfully organising the programme. He said that the team led by Phoolraj Singh had been engaged in social service activities for the past 35 years. He said that he had been associated with the society as a member for a long time. He added that setting aside one's personal work to participate in social service activities was not something everyone could do; it required continuous hard work.

The process involves identifying suitable couples, bringing the two families together, arranging household necessities for them and making all the arrangements for the ceremony through collective consultation and teamwork.
