Nawanshahr:- Dedicated to the sweet and lovely memory of the visit of Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to Machhiwara Sahib, like every year, two-day Safar-e-Siddak Gurmat Samagam is being organized on 23rd and 24th December by the Chief Patron of Guru Nanak Mission Society Giani Sarabjit Singh with the support of the society at Gurdwara Charan Kanwal Sahib and Gurdwara Nabi Khan Gani Khan Machhiwara Sahib.
Like in previous years, this year too, this service has been entrusted to Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ji, Chief Patron of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. Sharing this information, the chief sevadar of the society, Surjit Singh, said that on December 23, a Diwan will be held at Gurdwara Charan Kanwal Sahib from 6 pm to 10 pm, while the events on December 24 will be held at Gurdwara Gani Khan Nabi Khan Machhiwara Sahib.
During these events, the famous Raagi Jatha of the Panth, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Patna Sahib, Bhai Amandeep Singh and Bhai Arvinder Singh Noor (both Hazuri Raagis) of Darbar Sahib, Bhai Manjit Singh Pathankot and Bhai Binder Singh Damdama Sahib, will be present, while Bhai Sarabjit Singh will share Gurmat thoughts and Guru history on both days. Sant Baba Harbans Singh Ji Baba Bachan Singh Ji Kar Sewa Delhi will also be supporting these services. Along with other services, the Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society will also provide langar of milk, biscuits and snacks on both days.
On this occasion, Bhai Sarabjit Singh, on behalf of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, requested the Sangats of the entire Doaba and Machhiwara area to attend these events in large numbers on both the days. The Chief Sewadar of the Society, Surjit Singh, said that special arrangements have been made by the Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society for buses to take the Sangats of Nawanshahr and the area to Machhiwara Sahib for these events. He requested the Sangats to participate in these events in large numbers.
On this occasion, Barjinder Singh Hussainpur, Society Patron Uttam Singh Sethi, Didar Singh Gahun, Jagjit Singh General Secretary, Jasvir Singh Machhiwara, Jagdeep Singh Cashier, Surjit Singh Mehatpuri, Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan, Mukhwinder Pal Singh, Palwinder Singh Karyam, Dr. Bhagwan Singh, Parminder Singh Kanwal, Manmohan Singh Kanwal, Gurcharan Singh Pabla, Bakshish Singh Saini, Bhai Gurdev Singh Mubarakpur, Master Kulwinder Singh Bhin, Gurbaksh Singh, Surinder Singh were also present.
