Hoshiarpur/Daljit Ajnoha:- Residents of the city’s posh Model Town area, near Bali Hospital, are currently facing severe problems due to a sewerage blockage. Despite repeated complaints, the problem is not being considered necessary to be rectified.
On the occasion, Dr Jameel Bali, Ramneet Walia Gullu, Advocate Rajesh Ohri, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, Amit Sharma, Sunny, Shyam Sunder, Salim and others said that the foul smell emanating from the dirty water and the breeding of flies and mosquitoes due to the sewerage blockage had made life difficult. They said that after a complaint, the problem had been rectified once, but the situation remained unchanged.
They said that due to the foul smell, even breathing had become difficult and there was a constant risk of diseases. They appealed to the municipal administration to get the problem resolved as soon as possible.
