Hoshiarpur:-
1. Punjab Regimental Centre is conducting the Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Dhyan Chand Stadium, Ramgarh Cantt from February 16, 2026, under Unit Headquarters Quota. Candidates are required to report at Longewala Gate, Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantt by 04:00 AM on the respective scheduled dates.
2. Rally Schedule:-
February 16, 2026. Categories - All Trial Sponsored/Outstanding Players.
2.1. Sikh players (except Mazhabi, Ramdasi, SC, and ST) who meet the certification criteria.
2.2. National/International level players may be recruited from AIAC regardless of state and category.
2.3 Sports: Athletics including track and field events, basketball, boxing, football, hockey, handball, volleyball, wrestling, and kabaddi.
February 17, 2026. Category - All Trial Sponsored/Outstanding Players - Reserve Day.
February 18, 2026. Category - Agniveer GD (Sikhs and players selected during trials only).
2.4. Sikhs (excluding Mazhabi, Ramdasia, SC, and ST) from any State/Union Territory of India (only for relationship candidates of any regiment).
2.5. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass (Chef and Dresser) - Agniveer Tradesman (All India All Caste). Only for children of serving and ex-servicemen from any State/Union Territory of India who belong to the Indian Army.
2.6. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass Musician - All India All Categories (AIAC) from any State/Union Territory of India including Union Territory (Open Category). Interested candidates with talent in playing musical instruments.
2.7. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass (House Keeper) - Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass (All India All Caste). Only for children of serving and ex-servicemen from any State/Union Territory of India who belong to the Indian Army.
19 February 2026. Musician's Aptitude Test (to be conducted by the Inspector of Army Bands, IOAB).
3. Eligibility Criteria: The following will apply:
3.1. Age Limit: The age limit for applicants will be 17.5 years to 21 years. The first date of October (October 1) of the recruitment year (April 1-March 31) will be considered as the effective date for determining the age eligibility of candidates.
3.2. Gender and Marital Status: Applicable as per the respective categories/trades for recruitment into the Indian Army.
3.3. Medical Standards: A candidate must fulfil the prescribed medical eligibility conditions as per the respective categories/trades for recruitment into the Indian Army.
