Tahliwal/Una, September 28 (Rajveer Chopra):- Under the Cleanliness Fortnight, ration kits were distributed by the Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat to honour and support sanitation workers. On this occasion, the sanitation workers were appreciated for their hard work and the important role they are playing in keeping the town clean and beautiful.
Nagar Panchayat President Niranjana Kumari said that sanitation workers are the backbone of the town’s cleanliness system. They work hard every day and are making an important contribution to keeping Tahliwal clean and tidy. Ration kits were distributed during the Cleanliness Fortnight with the objective of honouring their dedication.
She said that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the Nagar Panchayat, but the collective responsibility of every citizen. People should come forward to keep their surroundings clean, dispose of garbage at designated places and cooperate with sanitation workers. On this occasion, Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat expressed its gratitude to the sanitation workers and said that their contribution to building a clean and beautiful Tahliwal will always be remembered.
On this occasion, Nagar Panchayat Vice-President Raj Kumar Malli, on behalf of the Nagar Panchayat, Radha Madam, Sachin Kumar, Supervisor Aman Deep Singh, Councillor Anu Devi, Councillor Ajay Sehgal, Arun Kumar, Meena Devi, Sanju Kumar, Sumit Sharma, Harish Kumar, along with sanitation workers, were also present.
