Una, April 8: Preparations for the State-Level Haroli Festival-2026 have gathered full steam at the Roda Ground, situated near the Haroli-Rampur Bridge. To ensure the smooth and organized execution of this grand four-day event (scheduled from April 11 to 14), all concerned departments are rapidly finalizing their respective responsibilities.
SDM Haroli and Festival Convener, Vishala Sharma, stated that extensive arrangements are being put in place at the venue to make the festival site both attractive and convenient for visitors. Preparations for the grand procession—which is set to commence from the Jal Shakti Department's Rest House in Haroli and proceed to the festival venue—have also gained momentum.
*Deputy Chief Minister to Inaugurate Rest House*
Notably, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will inaugurate the newly constructed Rest House of the Jal Shakti Department on April 9 (Thursday) at 11:00 AM, an event that is expected to give further impetus to the festival preparations. It is from these very premises that the grand procession—destined for the festival venue at Haroli Ground, Roda—will commence on April 11.
*Melodious Tunes to Resound for Four Days — Himachali, Punjabi, and Local Artists to Grace the Stage*
The cultural evenings of the festival are set to be a major highlight this year. Over the course of four days, artists hailing from the district, the state, and Punjab will mesmerize the audience with their performances. On the evening of April 11, renowned Punjabi artist Gippy Grewal will perform; followed by G Khan on April 12; Himachal's celebrated artists Kuldeep Kumar and Anuj Sharma on April 13; and finally, Gulrez Akhtar and Ammy Virk on April 14—all of whom will entertain the public by weaving their musical magic at the State-Level Haroli Festival.
*Trade Fair and Sports Competitions*
A Trade Fair will be organized at the Haroli Ground during the festival, providing Self-Help Groups and commercial establishments with an opportunity to showcase their products. In addition to promoting local entrepreneurship, this event will also strengthen the economic and social dimensions of Vaisakhi.
Furthermore, various sports competitions will be organized to engage the youth in positive activities. Additionally, a grand job fair is being organized on April 14th. At this event, young candidates will be selected by Luminous Power & Technology Ltd., Livguard Power & Energy Ltd., Swiss Garnier Ltd., Nagada Multiplast Industry, Stanford Laboratories, NGG Power Tech, Suriye Polex, and Sukhjit Agro Industries, alongside 15 other industrial enterprises.
