Karnal - Preparations for the Gopashtami festival at Shri Krishna Gaushala (Gaushala Road) have been completed. On October 30th, a spiritual program will be organized in the presence of Gita scholar Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj. The Gaushala has been decorated lavishly.
People who worship and serve cows will have the opportunity to listen to sermons from saints and sages. Shankaracharya Shri Gyananand Ji, the head priest of the Bhanpura Tirtha, will arrive specially to offer blessings. On Tuesday, the management committee of Shri Krishna Gaushala provided detailed information about the festival in a press conference.
On this occasion, Executive President Dr. SK Goyal and General Secretary Ram Kumar Gupta stated that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the ceremony as the chief guest. MLA Jagmohan Anand, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, Chairman of Gauseva Aayog Haryana Shravan Kumar Garg, social worker Satish Goyal, social worker Rajkumar Goyal and social worker Padmasen Gupta have been invited as special guests.
On Thursday, the program will begin with a havan yagya at 8 am. The ceremony will begin at 9.15 am with lighting of lamps and cow worship. After this, sermons by saints and sages will be heard. In the afternoon, a community feast will be organised and prasad will be distributed.
People have been urged to visit the cowshed in large numbers and avail the religious benefits. Treasurer Arun Gupta, Project Head Gurdayal Agarwal, Duliya Ram Sharma, Ashish Gupta, Vivek Agarwal, Sachin Garg, Ajay Saini, Rajkumar Maini, Balbir Lathar and Sanjeev Gupta were present on this occasion.
