Mamdot/Firozepur 4th August:- Preparations have been completed for the Maha Rally of 7th August and gate rallies will be held at district level on 5th August and 6th August, giving information in this regard Lachhmi Bai District President Paramjit Kaur District Secretary informed that by Sanjhi Talmeil Committee and Democratic Employees Federation Punjab, a huge state level rally has been kept on 7th August at Chandigarh to get the contractual employees regularized, to restore the old pension scheme and to get the installments of D.A. All employees have been appealed to join this rally.
The main demands are to implement minimum wages for honorarium workers. To regularize the contractual employees with full pay scales and allowances. To cancel the letter of 17-07-2020 and implement Punjab scales. To cancel the new pension scheme and restore the old pension. To get the arrears of 18% dearness allowance (DA) released. To restore rural, border area allowances and A.C.P. scheme. To give full salary during probation period.
Many other demands of organizations/employees are not being resolved, contractual employees are not being regularized, on the contrary they are being beaten, heavy atrocities are being inflicted. Apart from this, demand has been made to withdraw 200 rupees Jazia Tax. They informed that Union leaders and colleagues will participate in this rally on a large scale.
