Mahilpur: The annual Shivratri Bhandara (community feast) at the ancient Shiva temple in Bharowal, organized by the Shiv Shakti Mandal, is being held on February 16th with the cooperation of devotees from India and abroad.  The event is being organized by President Bhupinderpal Singh, Ram Lubhaya Ji (Omkar Ji), Mehinga Ram Ji, Prem Gir Ji, Sushil Gir Ji, the entire group of saints, Chairman Harjesh Kumar, Vice President Manoj Kumar Moji, Chief Secretary Kulwinder Bittu, Sarpanch Dharminder Sahota, Secretary Pradeep Kumar, Dalveer Singh, Lali, Inderjit Singh, Lakhbir Kumar, Goldy Singh, Daljit Singh, Darshan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Sohan Singh, Avinash, Daljit Singh, Geeta, Inderjit Singh, Gopal Krishna DSP, Dr. Shyam Sundar Sinha, Lokesh Gupta, Dharampal Singh, Joint Secretary Rampal, Amit Bhammi, Atam Prakash Bhammi, Chiranjee Lal Gogna, Sarpanch Inderjit Bariana, Sandeep Singh Helran, Dalbir Kaur Bathlan, Sunny Nagra Kakkaran, Chiranjee Lal, Avinash Chandra Sela, Satnam Singh Pakhowal, Lakhwinder Singh Hayatpur, and Harish Kumar.
Giving details in this regard, Bhupinder Pal Singh said that a havan (fire ritual) will be performed first on this occasion. Malvinder Singh, MP, Jai Krishna Singh Rodi, Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and MLA from Garhshankar constituency, and Captain R.S. Pathania, former President of the Rajput Welfare Society, will be present as chief guests.
In addition, saints, political leaders from various parties, Panchs and Sarpanchs from 10 villages, villagers, and a large number of Shiva devotees will participate and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. During the gathering, saints and revered figures including Sant Mahinder Giri Ji Brahm Gyani (Gwalior), Pragya Guru Hari Shri Anand Swami Ji Maharaj (Akshardham) from Swami Narayan Temple, Nitya Swami Ji Maharaj, Gyaneshwar Swami Ji Maharaj, Sant Makhan Singh Ji Tutomajra, Sant Balvir Singh Shastri, Sant Charanjit Singh Jassowal, Sant Rishiraj Ji Nawanshahr, Sant Prakash Giri of Junagadh, Sant Amargiri Ji from Baba Balak Nath Temple, and Sant Rangeela Ji from Baba Balaknath Temple will grace the congregation with their presence and blessings.
