Garhshankar:- Under the patronage of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, an Ardas session was organized for the release/parole and Chardi Kala of all the imprisoned Singhs lodged in various jails and under the direction of Eng. Sukhminder Singh, Secretary Education. During the function held at the college Gurdwara Sahib under the supervision of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, all the staff and students chanted the path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib in congregation.
After the path, a collective prayer was offered for the release, parole and Chardi Kala of the imprisoned Singhs lodged in various jails for a long time. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that collective prayers are being offered in the Gurdwaras and educational institutions of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee for the release and advancement of the imprisoned Sikhs.
He appreciated this initiative of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and said that we should all pray together so that the imprisoned Sikhs in jails can be released as soon as possible and return to their homes happily. Dr. Harvinder Kaur thanked the staff and students participating in the event.
