Haroli/Una, August 5: The 'Prakash Utsav' (marking the first installation/revelation) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was celebrated with deep reverence, devotion, and adherence to religious decorum at the Tahliwal branch of Gidgida Sahib.
On this sacred occasion, a large number of devotees visited the Gurudwara Sahib to pay their obeisance and seek the blessings of Guru Maharaj.
To mark the occasion, the recitation of 'Sri Akhand Path Sahib' (uninterrupted recitation of the holy scripture) was initiated. The responsibility for this service was entrusted to Kulwinder Singh, a *sevadar* (volunteer) and *pathi* (scripture reciter) of the *Dera*. Following the *Bhog* (concluding ceremony) of the *Akhand Path Sahib* on Wednesday, special *Diwans* (religious congregations) will be held, where *Ragi Jathas* (hymn-singing groups) will enthrall the congregation with *Gurbani Kirtan*.
Throughout the *Prakash Utsav*, *Guru ka Langar* (community kitchen) will continue uninterrupted, with arrangements made to serve meals to all devotees. The Gurudwara Management Committee has appealed to the entire congregation to attend the event with their families, partake in the blessings of the Guru's abode, and participate in the *Prakash Utsav* celebrations.
Satnam Singh (President of the Gidgida Sahib Committee), Master Ravinder Singh (Vice-President), other committee members of the Tahliwal branch, and a large number of devotees were present on this occasion.
