Dera Bassi, 24 August, 2026:- Under special awareness campaign being run dedicated to 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj by Punjab Government, about 30 minute special documentary film based on life, teachings and great philosophy of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was shown through LED screens at village Sitabgarh, Sadhnagar Colony and Trivedi Camp of Dera Bassi block.
Giving information in this regard MLA Dera Bassi Shri Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that this special campaign dedicated to 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is being run by Punjab Government, main objective of which is to reach message of equality, communal harmony, humanity and Sarbat da Bhala given by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj to every household.
He said that through documentary film people are being given information about life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, his teachings and invaluable contribution given for social reform. He said that Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj gave message to society to rise above caste and high-low and live life with mutual love, sharing and equality.
Shri Randhawa said that this special documentary is being shown by Punjab Government in villages and various areas through LED screens, so that every section of society including young generation can take inspiration from great ideology and life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.
Residents of village Sitabgarh, Sadhnagar Colony and Trivedi Camp also watched this documentary film in large number and appreciated this effort being made by Punjab Government.
