Shahbzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 24:- A painting exhibition dedicated to the 350th centenary of the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Bhai Mati Das Bhai, Sati Das and Bhai Dayala Ji by 28 renowned painters of Punjab was organized by the Panj Aab Fine Arts Society in collaboration with the Punjab Digital Library at the local Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan under the leadership of the Patron of the Panj Aab Society, Harwinder Singh Khalsa.
Today, on the last day of this exhibition, the District Administration has arranged the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Sonam Chaudhary to pay homage to the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Sahib. He praised the work of 28 renowned painters of Punjab and said that through these paintings, the history has been narrated, which we used to hear from the narrator or read in the Sakhis/historical books.
The organizers of the painting exhibition, Chief Sewadar Panj Aab Society Gurpreet Singh Namdhari and Prof. Gurbakhshish Singh Antal interacted with the officials and the audience regarding the history of the paintings. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Gurmeet Singh Sohi, District Education Officer Ginni Duggal and Election Tehsildar Sanjay Kumar were also specially present.
