SAS Nagar, December 31:- At Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan in nearby village Sohana, a grand Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the great service of Baba Moti Ram Ji Mehra and Diwan Todar Mal Ji was organized with full devotion.
In relation to this day, after the path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji in the morning, a grand Gurmat Samagam was organized throughout the day. In this Gurmat Samagam, Sher-e-Punjab Kaveeshari Jatha narrated to the congregation through Dhadi Vaars the incident of Baba Moti Ram Ji Mehra serving milk to Mata Gujri Ji and the younger Sahibzadas in the cold tower during imprisonment in Suba Sarhind. Bhai Harjit Singh Hazuri Ragi Shri Darbar Sahib Ji Amritsar's Ragi Jatha connected the congregation to the Guru through their melodious kirtan by reciting divine bani. Bhai Shamsher Singh Ji Karnal Wale, through his sermons, acquainted the congregation in detail with the incident of Diwan Todar Mal Ji purchasing the world's most expensive land by standing gold coins from the Mughal government for the last rites of Mata Gujri Ji and the Sahibzadas.
In addition, Bhai Onkar Singh Hoshiarpur Wale's International Dhadi Jatha, Bhai Tejinder Singh, Bibi Balwinder Kaur, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh, Bhai Harvinder Singh, Bibi Kanwaljit Kaur, Bhai Ekamjot Singh, Bhai Varinder Singh, Bhai Harsimranjit Singh, Bhai Pritpal Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, Bhai Kuldeep Singh, and Bhai Saroop Singh's jathas, besides Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan's Hazuri Jatha Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Harbakhsh Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, and Bhai Jaswant Singh, through katha, kirtan, kaveeshari, and Gurmat thoughts, blessed the congregation by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day. All jathas were honored with siropas. Guru ka Langar was distributed uninterrupted throughout the day.
