Oppenheimer has broken the Rs. 100-crore mark at the Indian box office, becoming the highest-grossing IMAX film for Hollywood in the country. Within two weeks of its release, the film has outsold Barbie in terms of ticket sales, with the latter having reportedly collected Rs. 32.75 crore. This could partly be attributed to the fact that Oppenheimer was released in both English and Hindi languages. Globally, the story is reversed, with Barbie dominating the charts, slowly making its way toward the $800-million mark.
