Santoshgarh/Una, 10 October (Rajveer Chopra):- A person lodged a complaint with the police stating that on the evening of 05.10.26, two unidentified motorcycle-borne men snatched a gold chain from his mother’s neck at Santoshgarh and fled.
Upon receiving the complaint, Una District Police registered a case under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Considering the seriousness of the case, the police made continuous efforts using technical evidence and human intelligence sources and identified the accused.
Acting promptly, a police team led by SI Rajesh Kumar, In-charge of Santoshgarh Police Post, successfully arrested one accused, Sanjay Kumar alias Bablu, son of Om Prakash, resident of village Ahmedgarh, Post Office Ghinghana, Tehsil Keharana, District Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, from Ahmedgarh on 10.10.2026.
