Chandigarh, 9 September:- The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana, has extended the last date for the ‘On the Spot’ admission process against vacant seats under SCVT for the session 2026-27 in all government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state till September 19, 2026. The admission process will be conducted entirely at the institute level, for which fresh online applications are also being invited on the department’s official website www.admissions.itiharyana.gov.in.
A government spokesperson, while providing information in this regard, said that the institute-level admission process would be based on the combined merit of new and existing applicants, and no reservation would be applicable. Candidates seeking admission will have to submit their merit cards at the concerned institute by 12:00 noon on September 19, 2026. Thereafter, candidates will have to appear personally at the institute with all their original certificates and deposit the admission fee online on the spot.
Candidates can download their merit cards from the admission portal and can also check the number of vacant seats available institute-wise on the portal. The department has clarified that admission already taken under NCVT will not be cancelled on the basis of this SCVT admission. All other rules and conditions mentioned in the information brochure for the session 2026-27 will remain applicable as before.
