Una, June 30: Academic activities in all government and private schools across Una district will resume according to normal timings starting July 1. Jatin Lal, District Magistrate and Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), issued orders to this effect on Tuesday. Consequently, the earlier order—issued on May 5 to adjust school timings due to the intense heat—has been withdrawn.
According to the issued orders, all pre-primary, primary, middle, and secondary schools in the district will now operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This arrangement will come into effect on July 1.
The District Magistrate has also directed the Regional Manager of the HRTC to ensure bus operations are aligned with the revised school timings, thereby preventing any inconvenience to students and teachers regarding their commute.
Normal school timings to resume in Una district from July 1 classes to be held from 9 AM to 3 PM
