Patiala:- With the support of Sudhar Sabha Sri Kedar Nath Ji (Regd.) and the entire Sangat, the holy festival of **Nirjala Ekadashi** was celebrated for the first time with great devotion, enthusiasm and pomp at the ancient temple of Sri Kedar Nath Ji and near the huge idol of Lord Shiva.
On this occasion, a complete arrangement of fasting langar was made for the devotees from morning till late night. The devotees were served saffron kheer, aloo chaat, chabeel, fasting pakodas, milk and syrup along with other prasad.
At 6 pm, Mahila Kirtan and Aarti were organized by **Shiv Mandali**. After the Aarti, prasad of fasting dishes was distributed to the devotees. The bhajans presented by Shiv Mandali filled the devotees with devotion and the whole atmosphere became devotional. During this time, a large number of devotees were seen in the temple.
On this occasion, **Pandit Brij Mohan** and **Yashpal Handa** said that for the first time in the last **35 years, Somvati Amavasya and Nirjala Ekadashi** have been celebrated in such a grand manner.
**Suman Bhain Ji**, a member of Shiv Mandali, said that she has been associated with the temple for the last 25 to 30 years, but she has never seen such a large number of devotees and such a huge langar before. She said that people's faith in the temple is continuously increasing and there is a constant flow of devotees here.
On this occasion, **M.C. of Ward No. 32. Ranjit Singh Chandok** and social worker **Iqbal Singh (LIC)** also specially reached and served langar.
During the function, Sudhar Sabha Vice Chairman **Hari Singh Chauhan** said that all the members of Sudhar Sabha perform every service from the development work of the temple to preparing and serving langar with full devotion.
He said that every month on the occasion of **Monthly Shivratri (Triyodashi)** at 5:30 pm, Mahila Kirtan and Aarti after which Atut Langar is served. Apart from this, every **Full Moon** at 11:30 am, Langar is served outside the temple by offering Prasad and Prasad is also sent to **Rajindra Hospital, Patiala**.
He said that all the religious festivals of Hindu and Sikh communities are celebrated in the temple with mutual brotherhood and devotion and Langar is served for the congregation on every occasion.
Finally, Sudhar Sabha appealed to the entire congregation to contribute maximum in the service of humanity and charitable works. He said that the congregation can also give its support by receiving a cash receipt or by making a digital payment through a scanner.
