New Delhi:- The venues for the matches of the 2026 Men's T20 Cricket World Cup were announced today. ICC Chairman Jay Shah said that five matches of this World Cup will be held in India and three matches in Sri Lanka. In India, these matches will be held in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, while the matches in Sri Lanka will be held in Colombo and Kandy. He said that India's star batsman Rohit Sharma will be the brand ambassador for these matches.
The ICC Chairman said that the matches of this World Cup will start on February 7 and the last match of this tournament will be on March 8. India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A with the USA, Netherlands and Namibia. India and Pakistan will play each other at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 15.
