Chandigarh- After the death of an IPS officer in Haryana, his wife submitted a complaint to Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and said that until a case is registered against the officers responsible for the suicide, neither will they conduct a postmortem nor will Y Puran Singh be cremated. She said that even after 48 hours of the matter, no FIR has been registered, whereas the suicide note clearly states that he committed suicide due to lack of conducive environment and mental torture and distress.
Late IPS officer Y Puran Kumar's wife Amneet P Kumar submitted a complaint to Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini to take immediate action after her husband's suicide.
During the meeting with the Chief Minister, the family made it clear that they are not ready for the postmortem or cremation of Y Puran Kumar and will not conduct the postmortem until an FIR is registered against the persons named in his suicide note and the related complaint.
The family said that they are currently waiting for the arrival of their elder daughter from the US and no cremation will be done until she returns and an FIR is registered.
