Hansi, October 3 (Dinkar Gawri):- Under the guidance of DMC and ADC Lakshit Sarin, Hansi Municipal Council conducted a special cleanliness drive on Saturday with the objective of keeping the city clean, beautiful and hygienic. Under the campaign, special cleaning work was carried out in Wards 9 and 17, as well as along Hisar-Delhi Road, Kali Devi Road, Jind Road and from Krantikari Chowk to Tosham Chowk.
Municipal Council sanitation teams cleaned roads, streets, major routes and public places in the designated areas. Sanitation workers removed garbage, soil and other waste accumulated along the roadside and cleaned the concerned areas. Special attention was given to major roads, and wherever necessary, lifting of waste was also ensured so that residents could have access to a clean environment.
Under the guidance of DMC and ADC Lakshit Sarin, the Municipal Council is conducting special cleanliness drives in various wards and along major roads of the city in a phased manner. The objective of these drives is to make the city’s sanitation system more effective and provide citizens with a clean and better environment.
Along with regular monitoring of the sanitation system, the Municipal Council administration is identifying areas where large quantities of garbage accumulate or where special cleaning is required, and carrying out special cleaning there. During the campaign, sanitation workers were also instructed to take necessary precautions at the workplace and carry out cleaning work according to prescribed standards.
The Municipal Council appealed to residents to cooperate with the administration in keeping the city clean and beautiful. Citizens were urged to dispose of waste generated from their homes and shops only at designated places and not to litter public places, roads or streets. It was said that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the Municipal Council but also a collective responsibility of every citizen.
