Hansi: MLA Vinod Bhayana celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festival with great enthusiasm on Friday alongside members of the Guide wing of the Hindustan Scouts and Guides. Twenty-four Guides from various schools tied *rakhis* to MLA Vinod Bhayana, offered him sweets, and shared the joy of the festival. The MLA encouraged the Guides by presenting them with gifts and wished them a bright future.
During the event, Naresh Kumar, State Trainer for Hindustan Scouts and Guides, honored MLA Vinod Bhayana and his Personal Assistant, Dinesh Bhutani, by presenting them with scarves. He briefed the MLA in detail about the scouting activities being conducted in the district. He explained that through the Scouts and Guides program, qualities such as discipline, a spirit of service, leadership capabilities, and a sense of social responsibility are being fostered among students.
The State Trainer mentioned that the Guides participating in the event had also delivered an impressive performance during the parade held on August 15th this year. He also apprised the MLA of upcoming activities and programs planned by the Scouts and Guides organization.
On this occasion, MLA Vinod Bhayana interacted warmly with the Guides and highlighted the significance of the Raksha Bandhan festival. He remarked that the festival of *Rakhi* symbolizes love, affection, trust, and mutual responsibility between siblings. It conveys a message about upholding the dignity of relationships and maintaining a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation.
The MLA stated that students should always embrace good values ??and positive thoughts in their lives. He emphasized that, alongside education, integrating social and moral values ??into one's life is essential. He noted that the Scouts and Guides organization plays a pivotal role in instilling discipline, a spirit of service, leadership qualities, and a sense of patriotism in students.
MLA Vinod Bhayana asserted that members of the Scouts and Guides should take a leading role whenever activities related to social welfare and the betterment of humanity are organized. The fundamental objective of the Scouts and Guides movement is to strengthen the spirit of service and cooperation. He stated that helping the needy and engaging in socially beneficial work, while maintaining discipline, is a significant step towards molding the youth into responsible citizens.
Appreciating the impressive performance of the Guides during the August 15th parade, the MLA remarked that their hard work and discipline serve as an inspiration to other students. He noted that young women are proving their mettle in every field today, and activities like Scouts and Guides provide them with excellent opportunities to develop self-confidence and leadership skills.
